Features are added with toggles. Settings can be controlled per tool or globally and are saved automatically. Default
presets are provided, and custom values can be stored and shared.

The following is a description of the pages each tool has. They are Tool, Help, History and About. Pages can be swiped left and right in header. Tools are accessible from front page, TOC and footer.

About pages show large icon, with current version number and release date.

JavaScript is the functionality.

Cascading Style Sheets is the styling.
Modules
Each tool is made up of two or more modules. Depending on the tool, these are Instrument, Controls, Timeline, Playlist, History, Panel and Meters. Modules can be toggled from Menu.
Instrument module
This is the main module. It's designed to provide basic functionality on its own.
Controls module
Buttons, fields, menus, knobs and sliders are collected in the Controls module. The status bar displays control help and feedback.
Timeline module
X axis shows time, and is scrollable. Y axis typically shows tempo or amplitude. There's a button for toggling guides.
Panel module
Text output showing session data. Some Panel modules are also input.
SPEECH button
Speaks current Panel text. Press again to stop.
DOWNLOAD button
Downloads current Panel text as a text file.
Elements
The following is a description of the basic elements that make up the tools. For per-tool details see individual Help pages. Tooltips are provided on hover for buttons and labels.
Button
Buttons can be command or toggle. They are colored when on, and greyed out when not accessible. Rectangle with text, or square with icon, can be toggled from Settings. Certain buttons are always square with icon. Text in buttons is in upper case. Some buttons support hold.
Label
Displayed to the left of fields and menus. Click gives focus to corresponding field or menu.
Value field
Can be input, output or both. Have zero or three decimals. Background bars can be toggled from Settings.
Menu
Appears as dropdown menus on desktop, and as popup menus on mobile. Have two or more options.
Slider
Sets value in integers. Rounds to nearest integer when corresponding field has decimals. Decrease and Increase buttons support hold. Supports keyboard input of arrow up, arrow down, page up, page down, home and end.
Radio button
Exclusive selection. For instance note value in table in BPM Calculator.
Settings
Global customization is available from the Settings button in the top heading. Preferences are saved automatically and apply across Pekosoft.
Dark mode option
Switches the site color mode.
Fullscreen button
Enters or exits browser fullscreen.
Play button
Cycles through Pekosoft pages automatically.
Status bar option
Toggles the fixed tool-navigation bar at the bottom of the page.
Grid option
Toggles the background grid.
Guides option
Toggles guides across supported tools and modules. A module-local GUIDES button overrides this setting for its own module only. The Settings button remains blue while at least one guide is on. Default: on.
Bright option
Makes guides white across supported Timelines and Meters. A module-local BRIGHT button overrides this setting for its own module only. Default: off.
Headers option
Shows or hides module headers.
Layout option
Toggles the two-module layout where supported.
Haptics option
Enables haptic feedback where supported.
Text option
Uses rectangular buttons with text instead of square icon buttons where supported.
Alpha option
Applies transparency to selected interface surfaces.
Bars option
Toggles number-field background bars.
Wrap option
Toggles panel text wrapping across releases with Panel modules.
Size knob
Sets the background-grid size.
Font menu
Sets the default font size.
BPM field
Sets the default beats per minute and updates supported open tools.
RPM field
Sets the default rounds per minute and updates supported open tools.
A4 Hz field
Sets the default frequency for A4 and updates supported open tools.
SOS field
Sets the default speed of sound and updates supported open tools.
Reset button
Restores all global customization to factory defaults.

Decimals
Most values, both inputs and results, are limited to and rounded to three decimals. Certain values, like the large BPM in Tap Pad, are rounded to whole number. Comma is used for decimal values.
